‍1. General Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which DealVue Inc., including its predecessors, subsidiaries, and associated platforms operating under the names AVANTVUE LLC and DataVue (collectively, "DealVue," "we," "us," or "our"), may provide refunds for its services. This policy is incorporated into and governed by our overarching Terms of Service.

As a provider of digital services, we do not offer "returns" in the traditional sense. This policy outlines the conditions under which a refund for service fees may be granted. All refund requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis and are issued at our sole discretion.

2. Subscription Plans

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Payments for monthly subscription plans are non-refundable. If you cancel your monthly subscription, you will not be charged for the following month. You will retain access to your paid plan's features until the end of your current paid billing cycle. No partial-month refunds will be provided.
  • Annual Subscriptions: We want you to feel confident in your commitment to an annual plan. If you cancel your annual subscription within 7 days of the initial purchase, you are eligible for a full refund. Upon cancellation and refund, your account will be immediately downgraded to our free "Launchpad" plan. For cancellations made after the first 7 days, payments are non-refundable, and your premium service will continue until the end of your annual term.

3. Upgrades & Downgrades

  • Upgrades: If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
  • Downgrades: If you downgrade, your account will be credited a prorated amount that will be automatically applied to future invoices. We do not offer direct cash refunds to your payment method for downgrades.
  • Data Access Note: If you cancel or downgrade to a lower-tier or free plan, you may lose access to premium features, storage capacity, or specific analytics. It is your responsibility to export or secure your User Content prior to a downgrade taking effect. DealVue is not responsible for data loss or restricted access resulting from a voluntary plan downgrade.

4. Usage-Based Charges

Fees incurred for usage-based add-ons, including but not limited to "Extra Storage" and "AI Analytics Packs," are billed in arrears based on your actual usage. As these fees represent a service or compute capacity that has already been consumed, they are strictly non-refundable.

5. Free TrialsNo refunds will be issued for subscription fees charged after a free trial period has ended. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription prior to the end of the trial period if you do not wish to be billed.

6. Promotional Programs & DiscountsIf you used a discount coupon (such as from our Startup or Referral programs) to subscribe, any refund granted will be based on the actual amount paid, not the standard retail price of the plan.

7. Exceptional CircumstancesWe may consider offering a prorated or full refund, at our sole discretion, under the following circumstances:

  • Service Unavailability: In the event of a prolonged and verified service outage that prevents you from accessing the core functionality of the Services.
  • Billing Errors: If DealVue has made a verifiable error in billing your account.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have an issue with a charge, we ask that you contact our Support Team first to resolve the matter. Filing an unwarranted chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card provider may result in the immediate suspension or permanent termination of your DealVue account and access to your Data Rooms.

9. How to Request a Refund

  • Required Information: Please include your workspace name, account email, and a clear explanation of your request.

Our team will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Termination for Cause

In accordance with our Terms of Service, DealVue reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you are found to be in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy (such as engaging in unauthorized auditing, uploading malicious content, or other prohibited conduct). If your account is terminated for cause, you forfeit any right to a refund for prepaid fees, regardless of your subscription tier or billing cycle.
